The One Thing That Remains Constant

Most professions/companies have to follow State and Federal regulations of some sort. The various processes to meet these regulations constantly change. We just get used to one way of doing things, then we’re told we need to do it a different way. Sometimes it gets frustrating and annoying, but it’s always a challenge.

Even the seasons aren’t constant. We know we’ll have the four different seasons, but there’s no consistency how each season will be like from year to year. For example, the winter of 2013-14 we had record snowfall amounts and lots of ice. Other years we’ve had some mild winters.

If you take a good look at things there is nothing in our human existence that always remains the same. Situations change. Emotions change. Life changes.

However, there is one thing that never changes and that’s God and His love for us. No matter how much we change, no matter how much we mess things up God loves us. He doesn’t love us more if we’re good and less if we are bad. His love is constant.

Our job is to put all our trust in Him. When we do that He is not going to violate or reject that trust. He will honor it and respond to it by never leaving us. We can be sure of His help in times of trouble and He’ll be there to share our joys and triumphs.

Human rules and regulations change all the time. God’s rules have never changed and will never change. We don’t have to worry that a command from Him today will be something different tomorrow.

It is so reassuring to know there’s something in our lives that will NEVER change. We can count on God being present every second of every day.

Are you experiencing the constant love of God? If not, do you want to? Just put your trust in Him who can do all things. You will then begin to feel the inner peace and strength only He can give and you will know He will never desert you.
